Bobcat tried again just NOW

Birds went nuts 12:54am almost exact time as his last try for chicken dinner. But this time I had my SKS 7.62 x 39 ready but the thru shot was NOT clear and the bullet through path would have been close on neighbors house so he escaped AGAIN

Sorry you didn't get a shot at him......I really hate bobcats......

I'd put some leg traps for that Bobcat all around the coop.

Well the next morning at 10am my wife says "Honey, there is a coyote coming up the hill" he was heading for the fence, my chickens free range, so I grabbed my SKS and TRIED to sneak onto deck but he heard me and as I rounded corner he ran. So I took a shot at him, through the trees I would get glimpses of him as he ran, so I took 3 pot shot in the direction he was running. Unfortunately, I had no clear line of sight so he got away. However on the 2nd shot I think I nicked him because he didn't show up on his the path he was running after 2nd shot. So maybe I just scared him enough not to come back
