We have been having a problem since we have fresh eggs. When the wife boils eggs and goes to peel them the egg whites come off with the shell she has tried putting salt in the water while boiling. But no luck. Is the a secret to it? Thanks

Fresh eggs are harder to peel the membrane sticks to the shell and white and it gets messy. Leave your fresh eggs for a day or two and they'll peel easier.... Normally :-/

The issue is that you are using such fresh eggs- it is better to use aged eggs for boiling as they will peel much more easily. I find it gets easier at about the 4 day mark at minimum (age of egg before it's boiled).

As covered freshness is the reason. A couple of tips, as soon as they are done run cold water over them. Or simply steam instead of boiling to make them easier to peal. But definitely let them age 4 or 5 days at least.

Put vinegar in the water instead of salt. Boil them for 13 minutes, take out and put in ice water immediatly. They will peel easily.
