Bonded (a planetary RP)

"We do lots of things for fun," she said, "but just... not like that." She hadn't noticed she was gripping the dummy's head until she heard a rip. When she tried to pull her hand away, the head came with it. She muttered something under her breath, trying to pull her fingers out.
River nodded and then grinned as the dummies head came off she gripped it and ripped it off Linda`s fingers

(I would think every two years, because for example how Siri live twice as long as humans, it would probably take twice as long for their mental development too. But that's just my guess; I'm not the owner of the RP so I wouldn't know for sure. Good question.)
(I agree with CP, however, I did read a tumblr post about how humans are elves that live like, 1,000 years in a dog's perspective.)
Okay, thanks! wait I though (Human years) Linda was twenty that would mean she is 40... ?)
(It's also really sad because if a human is really good and saves their bond's life multiple times, it means the alien will eventually outlive them.)
(Yeah)

"Glad to be of service, and now you don't have to be lonely, cause you got me now. " Jaxson said with a chuckle, when she punched him in the shoulder he winced a bit but laughed punching her back. Then as he sat there rubbing his arm where she punched him he considered what she said. "80 years huh, that's like really old by human standards, is that old for your kind? " He asked curiously wondering how long a alien like herself lived for, she certainly didn't seem old. He felt something poke his head and reached up rubbing the spot he looked up curiously and then jumped back and gave a startled yelp. He had not been expecting a human to be standing on the ceiling above him.

He looked at the girl, "What, how are you up there?" He asked Star as he regained his composure.

(Just FYI if he's an american kid he'll probably recognize her once the hair isn't dangling over her face. You know, famous superhero.
Unless it's all in her head and she's completely bonkers. But I still say a flying girl would make headlines pretty quick.)
She giggled, "Oh, you know. I have my ways." backing away, she touched her necklace. With her good leg she kicked off, twisting around to land beside them with a thump. She winced, and instantly wondered if the boy had seen it. Probably not. She pushed the dreadlocks out of her face. "By the way, have you seen the room with all the weapons in it, yet? Pretty cool."
Narti gave a half smile, knowing that she found a pretty awesome human (or more like the human found her) to have as her 'seeing eye'. She laughed at the strange thought. "Hey, 50 years is only 25% of what I can live to; Siri can live to the ripe old age of 200!" She cheerfully, waving her hands as she spoke. She was then about to ask how old Jax was, as she knew humans did not live very long. She was a bit saddened by the fact, but of course she didn't show the sadness, instead her smile grew larger. But, her thoughts were interrupted by an unexpected commotion.

Narti instantly jumped to her feet and pulled her hands into fists as she heard a startled yelp. She swiftly spun around as she listened for any noise that indicated what was happening. But, after hearing a new friendly voice of a human girl, she relaxed. Wait.... was she hearing the voice come from above them? Well she must have, because at that moment Jax asked the girl how she was up on what Narti presumed to be the roof. No, couldn't be. Yet her suspicions were, again, confirmed when she heard a thump next to her. She cleared her throat "What exactly just happened?"

"Oh, hiya... uh, I'm St-" she stopped herself. Did she really want to be known as Star the star, here? She could goof around if she wasn't. A twinge of guilt told her that she would eventually have to go home. If that were possible. She still didn't want to trust the aliens, especially after she had watched Linda hold her maybe-sister upside down. Even if she had doctored her leg. She might as well say. If there was even a remote chance of going back, no one could know her alias Seeker. "I'm Star. I can fly, and I was... crawling on the ceiling."

Only after he'd said that did she remember he wasn't human. Erin swallowed hard. Great. This was going to look great on her record. Right-hand man to the deceased human catcher, dancing shortly after his demise.
She picked herself up and brushed off. Wet. She turned her pant leg over to find a grease spot. Great. She would be smelling that all day. "Uh, no. We just do it when... when we're alone."
Crow blinked again. "Ok..." he said slowly. Then he quickly added, "No offense, I'm just not used to human behavior."

Well, that was a good sign. He was new, maybe he wouldn't get much of a say if he were to speak of this in court. "Oh. Sorry about that. I try to keep my 'human' under wraps when I'm around other species. Are you new on the ship? I mean... your current form looks to be that of a youth, so I just assumed...."

Crow stared at Erin. Do humans really have memories that short? He thought, confused. I'm sure I talked to this same human. Unless she has a twin... "Uh, we already met, I think. You said I was a 'rookie'." He said slowly.
