Always kills me when they do that. How hard is it to stick to what you've read???The moviemakers took lots of "creative liberty". *facepalm*

Sounds horrible!Well, in comparison with the book, absolutely.
They left out Aunt Beast, made the Friendly Medium MALE(?) and somewhat creepy. The antagonist (the name evades me at the moment) was messed up. The three Mrs's were also messed up....
There was more.

I'll have to look for those...When you mentioned Murder on the Orient Express, I remembered that I really enjoyed And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie.
I generally enjoy locked door mysteries, especially of the murder variety- One of Us is Lying and A Good Girl's Guide to Murder are amazing.
Sometimes I wonder if the movie directors have ever read the books....Always kills me when they do that. How hard is it to stick to what you've read???
I'd definitely do A Good Girl's Guide to Murder. It's about a highschool girl who, for her capstone project, looks into a cold case in her town surrounding the murder of a teenage girl. Then it dredges up a WHOLE bunch of stuff and she begins to get threatening notes and stuff that gives the general vibe of 'STOP MESSING WITH THIS OR GET STABBED". It's super well written, too. it's really a page turner and I can't describe it more without spoilers.I'll have to look for those...
I'm not usually into murder mysteries, but Murder on the Orient Express had me turning pages like crazy. So did Sherlock Holmes.
Same.I read waaaaaaaaaaaay more than average. I've stopped counting.
