I want one SO bad now
but then again, I got puppy blues SO BAD with Brew and literally cried several times because he was SUCH a handful as a baby and an adolescent LOL at one point I thought he was part Malinois
before I did the DNA tests LOL because of his sheer drive and energy levels. But heās not, BTW.
but heās finally really chilled out within the last year or two LOL he will be 4 1/2 in July. And probably chilled out around 2 1/2 or 3 LOL MAYBE at 2 after his neuter. But even then, he still had some more energy than he does now lol
Now heās VERY chill. Sleeps all day except for a couple walks a day, usually some outside time on his long leash while Iām at the Clubhouse (if itās a nice day and my family is home), and usually a nighttime potty break before bed depending when his last walk was. And sometimes weāll play fetch with the Chuck It! balls or his Jolly Ball or play with the flirt pole or bite rag if heās in the mood for any of those but even those, lately he just hasnāt been in the mood to play with those much LOL he prefers his stuffies and chewies now⦠things he doesnāt have to run for.

but yeah.
Anyways, my point being, long story short, is that a Border Collie would probably be more like Brew as an adolescent 24/7 for their whole lives and NEVER be as chill as Brew even if I got a super chill (for a Border Collie) one and since I could barely handle Brew, Iām not sure I could handle a Border Collie or at least not sure I WANT to LOL I know I CAN because I have all the tools (flirt pole, bite rag, tug toys, ball launcher, slow feeder bowls, freezer bowl/enrichment bowl, Kongs, chewies, etc.) AND we have a hiking trail/field/beach (itās all 3) accessible right from my neighborhood that I could go to regularly for free running/sniffing as well as a large loop on the street for walking long walks on leash and plus I LOVE like LOVE training so I could very easily do TONS of training and enrichment/mental stimulation with them and teach them all sorts of tricks and tasks like finding their toys and me name all of them, or hide and go seek with people, etc. etc. plus we have a very large yard and I have Brew for them to play with and be with all day unless I crated them when I wasnāt there which I would probably do but even then, Iām home morning and night so thatās hours to play LOL so it wouldnāt be hard at all for me to provide for one but itās just, Iām not sure that I WANT to have to do ALL that just for one dog LOL I mean yeah, theyāre family but still. Itās a lot mentally and physically on me to do all that so IDK. LOL I mean, I CAN, like I said, but itās just hard for me. AND I would prefer not to. So IDK. Maybe a Border Collie is not the best choice for me after all⦠LOL
