Yeah true! So much drive and energy. Even in the “lazy” ones. I need a truly lazy couch potato/hippo like Brew.

I know 2 bc and they are both really skittish for some reason. One is a rescue though. But i would love a border collie with the right traits

Yeah I think it depends a lot on the lines. Theres several different ones in BCs such as show, working, and now sports. Some of the sports only lines tend to be a little neurotic LOL not all obviously but some.

Ours was from good breeding and we took her everywhere with us. She wasn't neurotic at all, just active. I can't even recall if she barked much. There's such diversity in the breed you really have to find the right dog from the right lines for what you want, or else everyone will be sorry.

I feel like that is pretty much every dog breed. There are bad breeders and good breeders.
