I like to deal with people that have done this a while, but I know a lot of these bidding websites are new and even experienced people are just starting out on them. I have previously dealt with wonderful people, and I just didn't think this would happen....

Thats not right that they have not contacted you yet. I have had some that said nothing and the eggs showed up. But after a week that is just wrong.

I am having the same problem, so I wondered about the place but they are not from the same place. I feel your pain and frustration. The person I'm dealing with has made promises to return my money but still nothing, and again she doesn't acknowlede my emails. I have pretty much resigned to the fact I.m out my money. It was 23.00 so thats not a great deal but it burns my you know what to think there are such low people out there who cheat other people for a few bucks. I hope your eggs come soon or that you have better luck getting a refund.

It is the seller's responsibility to at least be in touch. I would file a complaint with Paypal. That will certainly get the seller's attention.

Paypal doesn't put up with that kind of crap for one minute. They will freeze the seller's account until the complaint is resolved. Now I don't believe in complaining that the hatch isn't as good as you would like, etc....but not receiving an item that you paid for is completely different.

I think I am going to wait until the morning and see if this person responds. If there's nothing in my inbox by the time I wake up, Paypal is gonna hear about it. Such a bummer, but I got BCM eggs coming next week from someone else more reputable. Thanks for all the support everyone!

Yes I agree....They should at least contact you! As we all know chickens can have minds of there own like slowing down production or going broody, but its the sellers responsibility to stay in contact with the buyer and give them a choice on weather they want to wait or receive a refund. This person seems to be avoiding you all together. You have done plenty of trying to contact them so go file that dispute!

Okay, checked my email this morning, and NOTHING. I opened a dispute with Paypal and they give you a space to write the seller a message, so this is what I said.

I have emailed you 3 times regarding the BCM eggs I won in an auction on Ovabid. I would like a response as to what is going on with my order. If you cannot fulfill it, I want a refund. Letting a customer wait 11+ days without a single word is unprofessional.

I wonder how long this can take. This is just irritating. You know, I'm not unreasonable. I bought more BCM eggs from someone on BYC and he contacted me to let me know that something happened to the order before mine, so mine was going to ship a few days later. And that's COOL! Just communicate with me, that's all I ask.​

Awesome.... you've got alot of people behind you on this one

so let that seller say something I dare them cause I'll be more than happy to tell them you know what lol. and so would alot of other people.

We gotta stick together when we pay for something and not get it. I think they need to come up with something that prevents this in the near future. Just like when someone sells something and dont hear from the buyer. Cause there are resposible sellers and buyers but because of iresponsible people it leaves a bad taste in our mouths...

The same thing happened to me with eBay eggs. I contacted PayPay, and the money was back in my account within 1 week.
