Boy or girl? And breed?

I bought this one along with 7 others- 4 SLW and 4 Barred rock. This one is by far the lightest (and smallest) but it’s comb isn seeming to be the most red. They were Born about 7/7 so it may be too early to tell. Help is appreciated. Thank you.

8 weeks old and that much comb development! Was unable to see if waddles are developing, but I think I saw a hint of waddles too. I'm strongly leaning towards 'all boy'.

Thanks, I’ve been leaning that way. Right now the coloring of the 2 breeds is very similar. Any guesses as to which this one is?

I see some cuckoo marans and what looks like a CM mix.
He's a CM.

Hmm I really hope it’s not- guess I will post pics of the other 7 to get to the bottom of things. Figures when buying from a feed store. This chick looks nothing like my cuckoo maran rooster that I hatched.

I think your little cutie there is very likely a cockerel. And the legs do appear to be the wrong color for a barred Rock. They almost look like mixed breeds

He's a CM. The rest are CM and CMx.
