boys or girls silkie chicks

I have almost 10 week old silkie chicks, i think one is bearded and one non. I have read how difficult it is to sex them, wondered if anyone could give a guess based on photos? we were thinking one of each up until recently, now thinking 2 roos?

Hi there, welcome to BYC!

Based on waddle development alone.. I think the non bearded is a pullet and the bearded may be a cockerel. However, the bearded one looks like it might have a straight comb as well.

If they are two of the same gender... I would say both female.

The bearded does have a single straight comb, although i can see very small waddles, the non bearded has waddles too but realised cant see them too well in pics above,

Your bearded Silkie is a cockerel. Not sure on the non-bearded

I would guess both cockerels. Starting to see streamers and the combs are pretty big already
