Brabanters and Spitzhaubens--The Differences PIC HEAVY!

After looking at Carla's beautiful birds I hate to be the next to post pictures but... I will anyway.
These are the 4 cockerels from my spring chicks. I hope to keep 2 with the pullets until spring. (I do have a place to move one to if they get too rowdy... would rather not have another waterer/feeder to tend in winter if I don't have to.) I'm trying to decide which 2 to keep. They are 16 weeks old.
I thought I'd decided but am having second thoughts about one of my choices. I'd really appreciate your opinions. Thank you so much for looking. Jan aka Flitter

#2 I loved this guy's carriage, etc but his crest has really back swept.

#4 is the bird in back... he is very uncooperative about pictures.

I'd go with one and four, but I'm no expert. As we recently learned, Spitz aren't supposed to have an upright carriage. They're supposed to be "cobby".

I knew I should never go and read standards... I went to the Appenzeller Spitz site in the uk... I usually like to just look at pictures!

They said:
Carriage: Neat and very active
Type: Body well rounded, medium long, walnut - shaped. Breast full, carried high.
Head: Medium sized, held high
Never saw "cobby"... wonder what it means? Small and stout? I know some people like that... better not call them cobby!

Seriously, who told us "cobby"? I usually read this forum daily but must have missed that. And thank you for you opinion. I like #1 and can't decided between 3 and 4.

Personally, I prefer pictures, too. They make more sense to me. I guess the "well rounded,...walnut shaped" is what someone meant by "cobby'. Breast "carried high" does sound like they should be upright. So, I guess we want them upright, but not too slender. I wish an expert would post pictures and explain what's good or not good about them.

I found these on the UK AS site. Since they seem to have taken firsts, I'm guessing they must be good examples.
