Ok, I am going to want some colored (gold or cream) spangled Spitz this coming spring.

I want to get on someone's list for next spring, so that I am guaranteed chicks.

But I need someone who will ship either eggs or chicks all the way to Alaska. And, I haven't ever done shipped eggs before. Is there any chance they could get to me and still be hatchable?

Where are you in relation to Yukatat? I have a friend who goes up there regularly.

I am no where close to Yukatat, I think they are off the road system.

Which means that they would be flying through Anchorage, and I would be more than happy to meet anyone in Anchorage to grab either eggs or chicks.

Is there an index of reliable and well known breeders for the Spitz? I'd love to get a hold of a couple for my layer flock. They look fun!

Most of the hatcheries sell the silver spangled spitzhauben.

If you want any other color of spitz, or more true to SOP spitz, you will have to find a breeder.

I have not yet found a good breeder list.

I have some that are 18 weeks that have started but usually it has been closer to 20 weeks for me. And 22 weeks until they are laying daily.
