You might try this lady for hatching eggs.  I incubated her Dominiques (8 of 8) and Cream Brabanters (8 (maybe only 6?, seems like a long time ago LOL) of 10) and had a good hatch.  She packs them very well so it is up to the post office to not scramble them for you.  LOL

There is also a FB group for Brabanters and I see lots of Creams and Golds hatching eggs and chicks.

That is the lady who said they aren't friendly, not good with kids. Here are cream though but I am hoping for gold. Thanks.

Oops! I thought maybe we had had this conversation before. LOL She has Dominiques and Cream Brabanters and I purchased both from her. Both of these breeds that I hatched out are very friendly especially if you work with them. My Brabanters, now 8 weeks old, are sweet, inquisitive, friendly (lets the 2 1/2 year old hold them now), and not aggressive towards their coop mates.

I have not only ordered from this lady and hatched some very nice birds, but I have also spoken with her about what you said she says about their temperament.

This is from her website and she stand behind her description and temperament.

"Brabanters are a calm breed that is good for kids. If you handle the chicks, they grow up to be docile and friendly."

My Cream Brabanters, my friend's Cream Brabanters, and those on the FB American Brabanter pages all state how friendly these birds truly are.

I have seen you post a couple of times now about this lady's site and what she 'said'.

Do you have any Brabanters? Gold or Cream?

I have Brabanter hatching eggs ordered from a lady in but am concerned she hasn't been online since May 31; she's usually prompt to answer so am afraid something happened.

The woman in NC DID say they aren't good with kids. She emailed it to me clearly and I was puzzled because it said opposite on her website. So I wasn't sure why she would contradict herself. So I didn't order from her. I have her email saved but I didn't chose to order from her because of her email response. I mean her no ill will at all, was just stating a fact.

She was actually my first choice but I didn't know why she said not good with kids in email; she also says, "rasing chickens is hard work." Well we have kept chickens for years so clueless why she say that too.

Now the breeder I ordered from, I am concerned something happened to her, the eggs were due to ship this Monday and have heard NOTHING. IT's not like her at all. I have been praying she is safe. Odd, just not like her.

I have the eggs from other breeder today but not a peep from breeder set to send me these. Dunno what to do, I can't hold the other eggs long and I don't have enough for my friend's big incubator without the ones from this other breeder.
