Seriously though, if you MUST part with one, wait until they go through their 3rd color change and see which is best. You want to be able to show her at fair/poultry show. We need more people to do this to get them accepted into the APA Standard

There's variation, but generally by the 4th month there is no question as to what the bird will look like.
 
Can anyone let me know if they have or know of anyone who has gold brabanters hatching eggs for sale. Love these birds have had our female for a year the male did not make it he was taken at bay by a hawk now we would love to try and expand and bread here in GA.

Well, if you want to get rid of a brabanter or faverolle, let me know:) I am in Broken Arrow and would love to get those:) Of course, I am having the same problem - need room. Coop only should hold 8 (according to 4 sq feet) but we have 5 and 4 baby chicks... Will get rid of any roosters but I want so many chickens! So many to choice from!​
