Brabanters and Spitzhaubens--The Differences PIC HEAVY!

Probably a seriously stupid question...do brabanters have straight necks. Tiki has a very s shaped neck, front to back not Side to side. It makes her look like she has no neck and her head just sits on her shoulders

I'm crossing her with the Spitz cockerel. Spitz are not supposed to have beards, so I'm hoping she doesn't produce bearded chicks. If she does, they'll get crossed back with the Brabanters. She has nice spangling, too. My other Brabanter pullets have lacing and penciling rather than spangles.

Why are you breeding her with a Spitz. new color?

Both Spitz and Brabanters have issues with limited genetics and inbreeding. By out crossing, I hope to improve the vitality of my flocks.

I also intend to breed pure bred birds as well as my crossed birds.
