Thank you!....After consulting with color experts, when Golds and Silvers are crossed they will be sex-linked......unfortunately and fortunately, I do not have any gold hens, however, I have a line of siver Spitz that will be used to cross the gold to...all female offspring will be golds, males silver......if there should appear an odd color it will not be used for either color line.......this type of breeding not only restores the gold line but is good for the gene pool..................................................chrisf

So you will cross the gold female offspring back with the gold sire?

I wonder....when I outcross my Cream Brabanters and my Spitz, will the offspring be sex linked, too?
