Hi, Brahma people.

For my next hatch I would really like some brahma eggs! So I was hoping someone would please point me in the direction of a brahma breeder in central florida - I'd like to pick up in person or at least make sure they don't travel too far!

They don't have to be show quality or anything but I do want private breeder stock, not hatchery. A variety of colors would be great but I think all Brahma colors are pretty.

Any help would be much appreciated! Please send me a PM.

Funkyfeather on here does the light brahamas she is in Polk City, FL.... just saying didn't catch what colors you were looking for and I have got eggs from sableboi and got some pretty fluffy chicks in dark and partridge.... And funkyfeather as some nice light brahama chickens.

Can anyone answer my question about roosting for my two-one year old Light Brahmas girls? I have 7 hens that all roost together, after many changes in their nighttime setup they would up with a roost four foot off the ground with a ramp leading up to the poop board. I have tried to teach all the large birds to use the ramp and it seems after awhile they have learned to fly half way up the ramp and walk/fly the rest of the way. Is this straining my big girls?

Thanks and love all the pics. and stories of these big beautiful birds!

Here are some pictures of a chick from my buff roo & light hen..I've been told that this cross will produce sex-linked offspring. So is this a cockerel or a pullet? Are feathered legs dominant? I'm still a beginner at breeding chickens. Thank you in advance for any replies.

Question for the group please. I put several BLRW hens in with Buff Laced Brahma roosters and want to know if I will get Buff Laced Wyondottes. Would you put BLRW roos in with Buff Laced Brahma hens or the other way around to get them? Thoughts? I have a ton of chicks hatching from the blrw hens and buff laced roos and they are two different colors and nice feathers on the legs but I want to go in the right direction so im here to ask. I know it wil take lots of breeding but would like to get a buff laced wyondotte. Thanks!!
