You want to lay odds how long before they wise up and list them as super rare buff laced Cochins, or the super ultra rare feather legged buff laced Orpington. Leg color being just a small detail, apparantly kind of like type.

even with me not knowing brahma's, i knew these weren't brahmas, and i will bet that these people aren't that smart to change breeds eitherYou want to lay odds how long before they wise up and list them as super rare buff laced Cochins, or the super ultra rare feather legged buff laced Orpington. Did you Guys know you can report them to Ebay ?The sad thing is someone will buy them. They will hatch some eggs. The chicks will be even farther from a true "Brahma". They will raise the birds, get some eggs and peddle them as "super rare Buff laced Brahma" eggs. so on and so forth. Its just sad that people refuse to educate themselves BEFORE they blow hard earned money on JUNK. I'm surprised they did not throw in the breeders name where the birds came from 10 generations back.
GO to an ABA/APA sanctioned show, MEET breeders, LEARN what a true "BRAHMA" is. BUY a standard. JOIN the ABC. I'm turning blue in the face and I'm fixin to pass out.LOL

Its the buyers responsibility to educate themselves before they spend the money in my opinion. Ebay may not be the best place to seek out quality Brahmas, just as a general rule. Not really sure we can elevate this to a right and wrong situation? Ignorance VS knowledge might better describe it. Ignorance on the sellers part surely lacks malicious intent. I hope?
