I have terrible luck with brahmas - So far (in 3 different attempts), I have purchased 4 'female' light brahmas and 3 of the 4 were males (all were sexed and from 2 different feed stores - our feedstores don't sell SR large fowl - only pullets.

I will hopefully be getting a dark brahma hen from a friend soon. I'm soooooooooooo excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hopefully she will bond with Bird (our only bantam in with all of the other chickens) and Olive (a belgian bearded d'anver pullet that's alone in a separation cage because she's still too young)

Thought I would share a couple of pictures of my Lt. Brahma Roo (his name is Tilly)

Tilly is a handsome boy. We have a cockeral that is now about 3 1/2 months old, he has 2 pullets the same age and a 2 yr old hen. Hopefully next spring we will have some chicks.
