Last one for now!

Hi, this is my first post with pictures (hopefully I did this right)... I think I have a Brahma, but dont know if its mixed with something else... I got him/her at TSC in the Bantam yes I said bantam bin... he/she was tiny but now is bigger than all of my other chickens (he/she was the second batch I got and is now about 3 and 1/2 months old...). Was just wondering if anyone can tell me if its a boy or a girl (he/she never got a red pea comb but I have read that that doesnt matter? Anyhoo here is Owl (he/she looked like a baby owl when we got her and the name kinda stuck with him/her)...

Thank you Carole. I did'nt get them at a flea market though?? They are mostly from Spence/Williams stock, and some eggs I got from John Neff.

Tim........they are all beautiful!

EastTexasChick.......wow, those are some long legs! And I agree, he looks to be a boy.

Fowlvisions.......I'll be contacting you after my new coop is done! I'd love some hatching eggs.

I thought he was a boy, but as he got older his comb didnt get redder so I was beginning to think he was a she. This is my first time with chickens, So I mostly got RIR and only 2 Brahma's (the 2 brahma chicks I got where labled Bantam at TSC thats why I only got a few) They are the sweetest little (well big) chickens ever.. I will definitely be getting more of this breed...Thanks so much to everybody for answering my question...

Tim63- No he hasn't crowed yet, and he still churps like chick or a goose kinda (hard to describe)?!?! .. I have 4 RIR Roo's and one Orpington Roo and the orpington is the only one who has started to crow (well attempt to crow, sounds like a crow backwards lol and he does it every morning just before sunrise).. I just checked my calendar and they are right around 3 months old now...
