Have we a Brahma genetics buff?

My Gold Brahma hen has a 4.5 week old chick which is frankly orange and cream in colour.
Now I have Dark Brahma, Blue Partridge, Red Pyle and Gold Brahma boys.
As far as my (limited) knowledge of Brahma genetics tells me, I cannot get a light coloured chick from any of these combinations. BUT I have.

Has one of my sneaky Warrens slipped in an egg which has a Brahma dad?

I really would welcome any suggestions.

Thank you,

Sandie

Here's a couple of pics of my flock starting with the Buff Brahma

I am receiving some partridge brahma eggs soon so hopefully this fall will add partridge to my flock.

I stumbled into brahmas by acciedent a few years ago, went to a flea market and seen these boys selling these 5 week old chicks out of a crate...They say their dad bought a bunch of hatching eggs off a breeder and got 4 breeds...and they'd be BIG birds...there were light brahma, darks, buffs, and they had white cochin. I picked out 4 chickens 2 light brahma and 2 dark brahma, I couldn't pass up for 3$ each at 5 weeks....and they were healthy looking chicks...I lucked out and wound up with 2 pairs, how lucky was that? I FELL I LOVE! They were my favorite chickens, big huge fluffy friendly chickens when they got full grown. for

I am more partial to the dark brahma and now have a flock of darks that are only 5 months old. I started out with 8 and had to get rid of the extra roos but I have 1 happy roo in with his girls.

These birds are just so majestic looking, my roo's name is Hawk as thats what he reminds me of with the serious eagle eyed face.

My neighbor took my light brahma rooster two years ago after the hen was killed, and so he has about 2 dozen light brahma mixed hens now as the dominant part of his mix breed laying flock, but boy that roo threw some pretty darned chickens mixed with other critters. He got alot of creole colored hens with feathering and body like a brahma when he mixed that roo with some delewares.
