I have gold and blue partridge Brahmas. My guys are gals are just coming of age. I have two laying and have eight of their eggs in the 'bator but it looks like very few are fertile. They should be cranked up and running by the spring.

I'll SOOOOOOOO be on the lookout for your auctions, especially the blue partridge.

If you need a test hatcher, I'd be happy to volunteer!

I'm great at giving feedback.

Sjisty and sableboi can you guys pm me when you have eggs?
Do you know how much you are going to charge and are your birds pretty close to standard? I really miss my Brahmas. I love my Faverolles but I didn't want to keep hatchery stock once I got the new birds. Now that I am set up with the Favs I can get my Brahmas back and have more yard candy.

Now if I could just get set on the MF Cochins as my broodies I will be happy as can be with the birdies.

Out Brahma chicks are hatching both Partridge & Darks. It is unreal the difference in quality from these and our hatchery chicks I ordered. The differences are more than apparent right from the get go. These dark chicks have "BROW" it's obvious the shape of the skull is not the same. Also, the chicks have excessive down right down their middle toe, where my hatchery stock had flatter heads and the down was not nearly as excessive on the legs and toes. I will post pictures later tonight once a few more "Emerge". Time to set up the other bator now, got 5 Dark eggs and 16 Partridge over the weekend.

Are these Sjisty's eggs? And they have brows? Gosh that excites me! I really hope the eggs I get from her will hatch out some babies will full on brows

Brows, or better known as the crown, are the hooded appearance over a chicken's eyes. Breeds like Asils, Shamos, Brahmas, some Cornish, Wyandottes, and other Oriental Gamefowl all have "brows" They give the chicken a serious look, often a mean look.
