I have 4 Brahmas LF 1 light and the other 3 buffs, they are hatchery stock, but still beautiful to me

They make such a nice addition to a back yard flock. I hope to always have Brahmas, but my girls don't go broody is that because they are from a hatchery? I don't have a roo anyway so it doesn't matter. They sure lay nice eggs though.

Pretty girls! I now am worried that 2 of the chicks I got from the feed store may be mixed

and not buff brahmas like they said. I am going to inquire this afternoon of the origin of the chicks, and later I will post a photo of the chicks. I am positive that I do have at least one Buff Brahma...heres hoping they all are.

Yea, I didnt notice when I bought them that 2 didnt have feathers on their feet, here they are
one that doesnt show leg feathers

and the buff with feathered feet here

Yep, but I will take cute! I will be more scrupulous next time. I will keep my eyes out for some hatching eggs here.

No problem, I will enjoy him in a couple of months. ( I have have a new dumpling recipie...)

How can you tell that?! The tail?
