One box had the corners rounded and the other box was smashed on one side and also had 4 broken eggs in it. That's why I think it was shipping that affected the outcome.

I only had one egg broke out of both shipments I had. The second time I had like four quit in lock down. Some just failed to develop. I would buy shipped eggs again. I just wouldn't get them from as far away again.

Has anyone tried not turning shipped eggs for 7-10 days and had success, I always have troubles with shipped eggs, my eggs I get great hatches but eggs shipped from lowlands up to my altitude in Colorado I am lucky if I get a 30% hatch rate. I am willing to try this but would like some other input on this.

I always give shipped eggs 48 hours for the embryo to settle. I figure that if the embryo hasn't settled by then there either wasn't one or it's scrambled.

I have had several 0% hatches and several 80% with everything in between. No other variable changes. Even the incubator is in the same place.

Is she a bantam or LF? Large Brahmas are VERY slow to mature. Six weeks is way too young to really know much. Her top-line looks good. Her coloring does not. Those are basically baby feathers at six weeks so they should molt out. There should be improvement as her adult feathers come in. The lacing is poor and her head should be more white. Again six weeks is way to early to tell much, especially on the LF. A wide, well spread, upside down "U" shaped tail is an important point of type in Brahmas. Over-all width from front to back is very important as well. Can't really tell much about her width from the side photos.
I have large and bantam darks. The darks typically lack the type of the other recognized varieties in bantam and LF. Glad to see you are working on darks. Hang in there.

P.S. Please don't be put off by my candor. I appreciate honesty when I ask a question and feel like I owe it to people who have a serious interest and passion for Brahmas.
I AGREE WITH EVERYTHING THAT YOU SAID TIM, POOR LACING ESPECIALLY, BUT COULD IMPROVE AFTER MOULT........
