Yup, I agree. Those are Brahmas. They are Silver Laced and Golden Laced and they look like young roosters.
They will be lovely, and are a new color, so if you don't want to keep them you may be able to sell them fairly easily. If only I lived closer...Those are Brahmas. They are Silver Laced and Golden Laced and they look like young roosters.
Check Feathersite.com and see what is pictured for the buff brahma chicks there, you might also look up any other breed that has buff columbian and see what the chicks look like.I got my buffs from Cackle this morning. As always all chicks were alive and peeping.
I had a question for anyone who has cackles buff Brahmas. The lady I spoke with from cackle said people show their Brahmas and have placed guess she was telling me they have high quality buff Brahmas. Can anyone confirm or denounce this?
I wasn't aware people showed hatchery chickens and even placed with them. Thought those were specialty breeder chickens.
Ive noticed a few color patterning on different chicks. These aren't self sexing chicks, so does this just mean some will have different patterns with the buff coloring? There are 2 that have like this chipmunk look to them and then there are others that have like grey feet, grey wings, light brown head w/ dark brown spot. Some reversed. Dark brown head light brown spot. All I think with the grey feet and grey wings pretty much.
I'm not familiar with this breed really that's why I subscribed to this thread. Any comments will be greatly appreciated. Enjoy the day!
