Once, our hens finish molting we will have eggs available. We have chicks and started fowl (blue and splash) available for local pickup in Western PA.

So how soon can you tell the sex of Breda? I have 2 that are about 5 weeks old and I'm just wondering if anyone has any tips on sexing them.

I have now grown out two generations of Breda. I am stilling looking for ways to sex them before 12 weeks. Size in really the only thing that we go done before 12 weeks that has been a reliable indicator. At 10-12 weeks the wattles of the boys start to grow and get red. I would love any tips on sexing this breed too.
