Oh yes he is staying!! I am anxious to see him full grown. He is quite large compared to others and much too handsome/pretty to eat

Will I have to give him pullets to stay “happy”? Read they need about 10!! Or will they share, I already have a brown leghorn cockerel in the mix.

That was my concern. Why do they send males as freebies lol Glad they did in this case. Owl Eyes, the EE, is a keeper!! My neighbor gladly takes roosters so this won’t be an issue.

They do it because they want to get rid of them, and it’s easier then selling them.
