Breed Clarification?

I agree with Alexandra. He's either a mixed breed or Swedish flower hen. I think a mixed breed is more likely-- I could see him possibly being a speckled Sussex/red sex link cross, or something similar.

After looking up these chickens, he's much closer to the Swedish Flower. Still a probable mix. But my god, the Red Sex Link I looked up looks like Boomer!

Might be a Hybrid, but the face looked like her.

Oh he's very beautiful. I love how it looks like he has a mane.

Boomer looks like a mix. Red sex links usually have white tails and white mixed in with the ted of their plumage.

Keeping in mind that red sex links ARE mixes... Hybrids of two breeds that are bred together for a specific purpose.

Huh, interesting. I've noticed some white and some black feathers in her tail, but nothing "fancy" (lack for better term).

I think he is a Swedish flower hen roo, he looks like two of the roos I had and the one in my avatar pic.
