I think it's about three weeks old. Not sure tho.

Also, a pic of the inside of its beak is very useful. Chicken tonsil colors are very determinative.

Listen, this is how to candle a chicken.

#1 you get a strong flashlight.
#2 pick up the chicken
#3 have the chicken sit on the flash light
#4 turn the flash light on
#5 if the bones are red, you have a male
#6 if the bones are blue, you have a female
#7 if the bones are gray, you have a UFO

Looks like a chicken, I suppose. I can actually tell the breed from the eye color and gender from the wattle shape-it's an easter egger female

@OneHappyRooster We'd appreciate more pics, please. One of the legs looking up from the ground toward the stomach would be the most helpful to get an accurate guess.
