I have an Austra White and she is the best layer in the bunch (australorp, barred rocks included!). Her eggs are the best ratio of yolk to white and her shells are legit. She also lays like a machine.

I think that may be what she is! She FINALLY laid - I thought she wasn’t gonna lay until spring. Just started last Saturday and is doing really great - I think we’ve got an egg a day! Haven’t cracked any open yet though, but now I’m excited to see!
