please don't tell me that there is only one hen....
What does a person do with 1 or 2 hens & 10 or 11 cockerels?

Sorry, but you have 2 hens, only in these pics. What do ya do? Process the extra males or get more hens.@007Seanplease don't tell me that there is only one hen....

If I could get just "hen eggs" for hatching!!!Sorry, but you have 2 hens, only in these pics. What do ya do? Process the extra males or get more hens.
You can watch them closely before you send them to freezer camp! The hen will be around the one male it prefers...but this isn't always a "hard & fast" rule. Then there's always the chance the hens won't get along! You'll just have to try things out and see if it works out for them and you.If I could get just "hen eggs" for hatching!!!
If I process the extras will the hens just pick a mate out of the remaining males come springtime?
I planned on penning them up in pairs or making an aviary for them. You can watch them closely before you send them to freezer camp! Definitely very mixed up. The roo looks to be an OEGB mix. The bearded hen looks like a d'uccle mix. Sounds like that pullet does have a rose comb, which makes me think she could have sebright in her background. That one's comb is just a little line with tiny bumps, so I don't even know what to call it.
But I know who the bearded ones mama is, she's a cross-beak. I plan on keeping him. I'll post a pic of her. Well, actually his daddy's in this picture too!
