Breed?

I have a friend who basically had a neighbor force him to take their chicks. He told me he didn't know what breed they are, so I'm coming to my BYC friends in attempts to help us find a possible breed. We're in North Carolina.

Easter Egger's or some other mix... Can't imagine anyone asserting anything different based on those pics. So if you really want to be more certain, can the friend just ask the neighbor ?? They're really cute
