breeding 55 Flowery Leghorns

No I think I'm going to get some from you but I haven't decided if I should get chicks or eggs. Have your 55 flowery hens started laying yet. I also understand that you developed yours independently from green fire correct? So yours have different genetics? How many generations have they gone through and are they holding the autosexing characteristic?

Does anyone know how many eggs per year the 55 flowery hens lay on average. Since they are from leghorns I'm thinking that they must lay 250 to 280 eggs per year but I can't find any first hand knowledge or study to look at. Please let me know. Thanks

I've been eyeing the GFF 55s, but not a big fan of Leghorn temperament. Has anyone successfully created the 55 using the "recipe"? I was thinking of using more calm, docile, backyard appropriate breeds.

I don't know what the temperament will be but we have 2 little boys who will be handling our greenfire 55's and we'll let you know. Here's a couple of picss we got 3 pullies and 1 roo and are looking to get more. Sammy.
