Hey all, we just purchased 3 older chicks to our flock. I believe they are all around the 4-5 week mark.
We purchased the red/brown one with patterned feathers hoping that he is a cockerel, and the black and buff ones might be pullets — though the slight red waddles on that black one have me suspicious. Honestly, I’d be happy with any assortment, but am hoping that there is only one male between the three since our flock is pretty small.
We believe the black one is a black Australorp, the multicolored is a mix of a barnyard mix roo an Isa brown hen far as I know. For the buff one with the feathered feet... I have no clue!
Any one have any clues?
