Breeds that you absolutely HATE

The favorite breed list is probably less popular cause it's much easier to pick a breed you don't like... it is for me anyway

Hmmm... ya never know!!! NN Neck warmers - Hey... could be a possibility!!! There are saddles for hens, why not neck warmers for NNs???

Yeah, knit 'em on circular needles and make them like tube socks, or turtlenecks!

I had to google showgirl chickens. I didn't know what they looked like? Now I know.

I don't like naked neck breeds and rumpless breeds. I love crazy looking chickens but I really don't like the way those look.

Hate is such a harsh word. I love naked necks but silkies, leghorns and all those weird asian breeds that stand up really really straight, I am not a big fan of. As for silkies they have to be really high quality to even look remotely pretty to me.

While I can't say I hate them, I'd have to say I don't like the look of all white Leghorns with the floppy combs. It's not their fault, but they remind me too much of all the gruesome videos and movies I have seen exposing the cruelty of commercial egg production.

Silkies can be pretty ugly as well unless they are the fully feathered type. As for Turkens, they are a bit shocking but I have heard they have a very sweet disposition so that would make up for appearance in my book!
