I haven't "owned them all"....so I could say I hated any one breed, but I do not like the LOOKS of
La Fleche - don't think I could stand the "chicken version" of Satan himself looking at me every day
Naked necks - for some reason the bare skin just doesn't do it for me
I guess the good thing is that God made so many different ones that we can all find something to LOVE. That's why there's "chocolate and vanilla"......

I like what he said!!! I am a beginner - geezzz - my coop is not even done! I started with BR's for the specific reason that 1. they have a good rep for being mild in personality 2. good layers 3. lay large eggs
..okay - to be PERFECTLY honest...I also liked that they are black and white - which happens to be our farm colors!
edited to add - I would not be opposed to adding a few frizzles ...but it would be for fun - not for economics.
