Hershey is doing better! Eating more hay and drinking more water. So, I attempted to put Louie and Lilly together this morning and he didn’t have interest in breeding either. Even if they are sterile, they should still want to breed. So I don’t know what their deal is. I’m going to try the apple cider vinegar and see if there is any improvement in a few days.

Louie was with Ember and Tilly (they are only 4 months old) and they just fought. Which I assume means the does are not sexually mature yet. He did seem to want to circle around and smell them though. But he smelled around Lilly too but never attempted to mount. I’ll just keep trying. Louie hasn’t ever bred yet so maybe he’s still trying to figure it out lol.

Hershey was a year old in May and Louie is 9 months old.

I started the rabbits on apple cider vinegar water. I also gave the bucks some parsley, kale, dandelion, and black oil sunflower seeds (all suggested when I researched for them not breeding or being sterile). Crossing my fingers! Guess we will just see which buck decides to get the job done first

There's a lady selling a pair of GC Netherlands near me and I have an open hutch.... Might be a good learning venture on the difficulties of breeding Netherlands and they'll hardly eat anything... I want them so bad but I'm just not sure yet
