All doing well except one. Lost one this afternoon, probably got suffacted. There are two that are a bit more wrinklier than the others which I'm guessing means they haven't had as much to eat. But 7 is a big number for a new doe to have on her first litter so I will definitely give her grace if she can't feed them all. It's just part of life.
I bet they're going to be beautiful! They've got some really nice patterns coming in.

Kits are doing well! We lost another runt. I think it's because it didn't get enough food, does anyone have any ideas?

Be warned its a sad photo.

Poor thing was dumb!

I would move all but the little ones away from the mom for a little while each day to make sure you see them eat.

It does appear pretty wrinkly so doesn’t look like it was getting enough milk. I’m sorry, I know that’s so disappointing and sad.

Is there any chance that like calf's, they need mamas milk immediately after birth?

Well I know their eating, but not getting enough. And I don't want to risk the health of my good babies either...

I would leave that up to Vera, but they've been on earth since Monday so it wouldn't have mattered any way since so many are doing well.
