BRM's Bunny Thread! ❤️🐰❤️

If Feefs is pregnant I’l keep one of tje babies. Or two. If not I’ll just get a pure bred bunny.
That would be a super simple bond. Caspian adopted the kits, so your buck might, and doe's will not fight or kill (probably won't, they are animals) their offspring, unless you count asserting dominance.

I am thinking of also getting into Netherland Dwarf's. Anything useful you might have heard of them? Difficulties birthing or keeping? I know Holland Lops have that sort of thing, but I didn't hear about it for a while.

I haven’t read or heard anything about Netherland Dwarfs being difficult to breed like the Hollands, but I also haven’t don’t much research into it.

Max factor, peanuts, failure to thrive, and abandonment are huge issues with this breed.

Don't expect to make your money back, breed them because you love them. And don't breed anything less than the breed standard, too many people are breeding low quality rabbits and it's hurting the breed.
I absolutely adore everything about them and I would keep them in a heartbeat, but they grow longer ears in this heat and my barn is not climate controlled, so since I'm contributing nothing to the breed I'm rehoming my beauties to someone with a better set-up.
Sorry if I discouraged you in any way or crushed your dreams, but I wish someone would've warned me in the beginning.

Thank you for letting me know! I am so glad someone can tell me this! This may not be right breed to go into. They are so cute though!

What other breeds are some favorite's you guys may have in mind for possibly breeding?
