Broken toe nail

Is there anything I need to do for her broken toenail? It does not need to be her toe at all, just the nail. I rinsed it with clean warm water and will keep an eye on it. Should I cut the broken piece off or just leave it be? Keep cleaning it or keep it dry?

If the toenail is loose and barely hanging on, I would remove it. This will cause some bleeding but should speed the healing process. You can use some dog toenail Styptic Powder to control the bleeding.
