Broken wing feathers-- please help

Sometimes a dominant hen will cause the same damage that a roo does. Pictures will help with ideas.
Also, how many birds do you have, ages, and size of your coop and run would be helpful to know.

Attached are some pictures. This hen has always looked kind of disheveled. But it seems it has been getting worse as of late. Im pretty sure wings feathers breaking off is not molting. The last few weeks I have beenwatching as much as I can to see if she's getting picked on. And as far as I can tell she's not. The other hens don't bother her or the rooster either anymore than the other hens. I'm pretty sure she doesn't have mites or lice but can't be positive. I've started to get worried though cause as u can see in the picture her feathers are breaking off really short almost in her skin. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions I would greatly appreciate it.

Anyone ever find out what causes this wing breakage? I have almost the same thing happening

Sometimes when there are two competitive hens, or a bully, one will grab another by the wing feathers. Eventually it creates wear, tear, and breakage.

Our hens had this problem too, with or without roosters, wash them in Dawn dish soap and dry them. Then treat them with liquid ivermectin for 10 days. Do not collect or eat the eggs for those 10 days. It is either a combination of worms and mites, or worms but for some reason that combination of Dawn and ivermectin works. just using Dawn doesn't work and just divermectom doesn't work.

These are the pictures of my 14 months old rooster.

He is having lot of breakage of his feather, may be over mating or protein deficiency.

Did you ever find a solution to this, or a reason? I have a Speckled Sussex and her wing tips are broken off too. Although hers are closer to the wing end and not the shoulder. She always has looked a little disheveled and I didn't realize how broken her wing tips were until the other day. She also has a greasy look to her. Would love to know if you found a solution or cause.
I have a hen that was kinda handicapped from the get go. She’s really stumbly, off balance, wobbly etc. her wings look like yours from trying to fly up on the roost and beating her wings against everything. Their just broken feathers now. Now she waits patiently for me to come in the coop and pick her up and put her on the roost since her wings are all but gone. Eventually they will molt the broken feathers off and get another chance at keeping them nice. Is t really a big deal tho.

My chickens wing feather look like that from beating her wings agains the roost and various other objects. She’s a little handicapped since birth. Now she waits on the floor of the coop for me to come lift her up on the roost at night.
