Ooh! Buff Orpingtons are so cute! Especially as chicks... 3 will be a nice number, as you will be able to hold them fairly often... just be prepared... chicken math is real... :)

Yea, the feed store can sometimes be... hectic. I got my chicks also at a local feed store, and sadly they were out of lavender orpingtons (apparently they hadn't got the shipment or something..?) But we got a lot of super sweet chicks who are now 5 weeks old.

wow I can't believe yours are 5 weeks already?!?! I remember when you first posted them, I had placed my order for my chicks a few weeks before that. hahaaa.


and I agree on chicken math. Heck I added to my order before my first chicks even came in. Went from 8 ordered to 10..... But now promised my husband no more THIS year (yes made sure to throw that part in. haaha)

Yes, they're 5 weeks! Moving them out in a week... as long as this Washington weather allows

Well there shipment of buffs was yesterday morning so I'm just praying they have buffs. My hear is kinda set on them... they look cute and fluffy 👀😁
