It's ok if they do have grit! They don't need it, but I gave my chick's grit at that age, mostly so they had something to scratch around at. It's totally fine for baby chicks to have grit, in my opinion.

No problem! I just mixed some grit into the feed and I did not want to sift through the feed plus clean the brooder!
