Broody hen sitting on eggs

It depends if your hen is at the top of the pecking order than you should be OK (still keep an eye on it though;)).I ,however, try to make it a practice of separating my new mothers.
As for the change of feed, yes! The mother will not be laying eggs for weeks so she has no need for the calcium and the babies will need the starter food.

Okay, I think I will leave them together!
 
Update: 2 out of 5 of my chicks have hatched and 1 is still hatching it started hatching at about 10:30 am and is still hatching it has progressed and I am just wondering if it is still alive. Here are some photos... They are on chick crumbles and I have halved the chicken coop for them.

I can't see your water bowl properly in these photos; make sure it has some marbles or gravel or something in it so the chicks can't drown in it.
