My giant cochin just went broody. Can you inmagine how many eggs I could shove under her giant behind? I'm so excited, even though I have nothing to stick under there but duck eggs at the moment.
 
Okay, stupid newbie question time. Do meaties lay much? I mean, did she ever lay eggs for you before she went broody?

Of course they must lay eggs. Duh. Where else do the next generation of meaties come from? But is it like 1 or 2 a week or a month or a year, or what?
