One was rotten.... The other was a chick. I cracked the rotten one first and assumed since they looked, weighted, and smelt the same that the other was rotten to.....
I was wrong, it was alive and I cracked one day to early... It breathed a few breaths in my hand and died.... I got a pic.... The hen with her was 8 years old, she would have been her last hatch..... she hatched two roosters this year........ I feel awful with myself, I probably will never hatch again, I've been awful with that poor dying bird..... If I had just left it.....
