    In the large fowl world what breed is very broody like the silkie is it the orpingtons? or the brahma

    The orpingtons seem to be naturally broody regardless of what you do to try and change them. :)

    Orpingtons, Cochins, and Faverolles all tend to be very broody. In my flock, it's the Australorps that go broody. Of course there are always exceptions.
