I failed to mention that they are only is the super jumbo colossal eggs. We keep those for our consumption. They don't fit in egg cartons, only flats and they have to be spaced apart or they don't fit in the flat! I have not seen the chunks in the regular size eggs yet.
I'm glad to hear you say you keep the big eggs for yourself. My ladies recently started laying and we've gotten some huge eggs & I questioned what to do when I start selling them. Do you also the the super tiny ones? It seems unfair to sell something so small (i have a bantam).

I wouldn't put them in with the regular eggs. If you had several bantams, you could sell them as bantam eggs to anyone who likes mini eggs but doesn't want to pay quail egg prices

Also my yoke color is dull like big production eggs now for the first time! The protein is the same in both forms of the grain. I am at at loss.
Protein content doesn't have anything to do with yolk color. Protein type can tho...alfalfa is both high in protein and provides components that can increase yolks color.

Might try this feeder...the one with the bottle....truly no spill(except for that one d@mn bird who pecks up a big pile and drags crumble out.

Tiny pieces of shed tissue, or specks of blood from broken blood vessels when ova is released, are pretty common. Some bird have them sporadically, some have them consistently. Explaining to my few(3-6) customers has not been a problem, asking them to save anything unusually large has worked too, not sure how I'd handle selling more to general public.
Here's great video on how an egg is formed, think it mentions the blood/meat spots in there:

That is a dime in the photo for a scale reference.

Tho I don't have bantams....
....when I have a bunch of pullet eggs, I sell what I call a 'pullets dozen'.

I use 18 count cartons and add as many eggs as it takes to reach a carton weight of 24-27oz (Large-XLarge), mixing the hens eggs with the pullet eggs in whatever ratio is being laid. Then I don't have to change the price, which can be confusing and complicates my accounting system.

So frustrated with pics on this new platform!!
Can y'all click on the pics to see the whole thing?

I'm on a phone so I can't say for sure if the pics look right, but that's a great idea. Around here a dz goes for $2. I was thinking of selling 18 for $3 and when my eggers get going a dz of theirs for $3. I have lots of different breeds so their eggs sizes are pretty varied. The 3 in the photo were collected the same day.

Right now we just have the one bantam and I found 5 small eggs hidden behind my feed can that I had assumed were hers bc they were so little (pictured below) but I haven't had any since. I read her breed only lays 50 a year so I'm not sure if it was her.

Our feed stores sell their free range eggs for $5-6/dozen....found one place selling for $7/dozen. I sell mine for $4/doz, $5/18. I use my big ones and little ones. Either we eat them or I cook them and feed to dogs and chickens. Everybody wants large eggs to cook with so thats all I sell.
