The powder can be used in the water, but don't think one should try with the injectable. If it can only be done twice a day, then one could try that.

Sorry, I wasn't arguing, just trying to explain why MG isn't a terrible thing cause it is so wide spread. I haven't had to treat mine with anything as I just let it take its course but I do use essential oils that I spray in my coop. They really do help! Also, organic apple cider vinegar in the water helps run the course faster, or so it seems to help.

What essential oils do you use?

I know one person that did it twice a day and their chick got better, so you might get lucky. If they aren't better after 3 or days max, it's probably not gonna work.
