that cage should do good for catching him. You might want to put a treat in it like Millet or Orange slices. As for food for your new one, I use Premium Gourmet Parakeet food by 3-D Pet Products, since I have started feeding it my two male parakeets Charley and Dahveed I haven`t had problems with Faty Liver, which has killed my two females.

Yes you can. Just check on them now and then, to make sure they get along together fine.

I didn't put them in the same cage yet. But the wild budgie was making happy sounds when we brought him out of the cold. The other budgie is much more loose and is eating and talking, now.
