They do. Like the only difference is that females will lay eggs, but aside from that most parenting is the same. A lot of the time the males get the food for the female though.Do male budgies help care for babies?
My budgie is quite insistent on trying to get to the baby chicks (chicken) every once in a while when they start peeping loudly (because they stayed out from under the heat plate too long and think they're freezing to death).
Just hoping it's not a sign of a female, as I do want a male. So I'm hoping male budgies also care for babies.
